Mouse double-click test
Use normal single clicks. The counter flags unusually fast repeat inputs that can indicate a worn or bouncing switch.
Run the test to interpret your result
Your result will be explained here, including what is normal, what may indicate a problem, and the most useful next step.
Contextual replacement recommendation
Reserved for a relevant product recommendation when a result suggests a hardware issue.

Use ordinary single left-clicks across this area.
What counts as a problem?
If this page records two inputs when you physically press once, test again with a slower deliberate click. Repeated phantom inputs can point to switch bounce or a failing mouse button. A fast human double-click is not itself a fault.
Before replacing the mouse
Try another USB port or Bluetooth reconnect, then repeat the test in a second browser. Mouse software and accessibility settings can also change click behaviour.
